Are you interested in HIV research? The Community Advisory Committee (CAC) of the CIHR Canadian HIV Trials Network provides community input to the CTN regarding clinical research, and nominations are open. A scientific background is not required and training materials are provided.
CAC members also receive a small honorarium.
Potential committee members should have:
• Knowledge of and interest in HIV, HCV and/or STBBI prevention treatment and care issues
• Connection to the community of people living with HIV
• An understanding of issues important to various HIV communities
• Fluency in spoken and written English. Francophones are encouraged to apply.
