Health, Safety, and Respect at Group Gatherings

PAN is committed to creating a safe and respectful environment at all of our events whether they are virtual or in-person. We recognize that people bring different strengths and experiences to events, and ask that all participants review and respect these Group Guidelines and Responsibilities so we create a culturally safe community space together.

Respiratory health at in-person events

We recognize that respiratory and COVID symptoms may be minor and go unnoticed, and also that masks continue to be a layer of protection to help control the spread of COVID and other illnesses. Participants and guests at our in person events are encouraged to make their own decision about masks and we will make them available along with hand sanitizer. We know that COVID infection can be resolved within a week, but for some it can also lead to complications and long COVID.

Anyone that is experiencing any symptoms of illness (fever, chills, respiratory symptoms) is asked to stay home or leave the event to protect the community, especially those who may be immune-compromised.

We continue to strongly encourage people to be vaccinated for flu and COVID-19 and get ongoing boosters as suggested by public health guidance.

Please note that for any of our in-person events, we may have to make changes to these plans based on current public health conditions at the time, and the safety of all.
