Upcoming Community of Practice Dates and Info: Mark your Calendars

Mental Health, Substance Use and HIV/HCV CoP

Hi everyone!

I hope that summer does not feel like a distant memory as we gather back from holidays into Fall. This past year has been an interesting one for our CoP. We continue to grow- and have over 30 CoP members – who share their voices and experiences in a safe collective space. Click here for more info about the Mental Health, Substance Use and HIV/HCV CoP: MHSU CoP-What is it?

We remain committed to hosting a space that is informal and not filled with big agendas in order to be fluid and responsive to what is happening for members across the province. That being said, we also commit some meetings to discuss specific topics and continue to invite suggestions for presentations/discussions relevant and meaningful to our members.

Please see the information below for future CoP meeting dates – and discussion topics identified thus far. You will note that we meet each month- alternating Wednesdays and Fridays- to ensure that the dates and times can work for as many community members as possible. We also encourage guest hosts for each session.

If you are interesting in joining the Cop, please send me an email and I will place you on the membership list. This way you will receive CoP updates and the registration link for each meeting.

We try to have a rich meeting experience by utilizing both conference call and video web conferencing. If you are not sure about how the tools work, Stacy and Sarah have created a fun info sheet to explain how to use the meeting tools: Community of Practice Web Meeting Instructions_v3.

It’s easy!

Our next meeting on Sept 26 brings together members who have recently taken the Mental Health First Aid course (Prince George and Victoria) for discussion about the training.

If you are interested in joining the CoP, please contact me via email or phone!

I hope to see you there.
