In response to the concerns raised by our stakeholders about the unmeasured burden of neurological injury related to overdose and the impacts on individuals, families and communities, a review and preliminary descriptive assessment was conducted by the BC Provincial Overdose Cohort team. While measuring neurological injury in administrative data has limitations, we hope this report will be a useful starting place for further discussions. A big thank you to the cohort analysis and review teams, who prepared this knowledge update.
