CIHR Seeks Feedback on New Patient Engagement Guidance Document

Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) is currently seeking feedback on a draft of its Ethics Guidance for Developing Research Partnerships with Patients guide. This document “focuses on ethical concerns that need to be addressed to maintain trust in research partnerships across the research lifecycle”.

Importantly, this draft document may serve as a useful tool for researchers designing patient engagement and integrated knowledge translation plan as it provides concrete examples of how to include patients throughout the research process.

More information about the public consultation process and a link to the document is available on CIHR’s website.
