New Certificate Program at York U: Tools for Community Based Research

TLP-LogoWe’re excited to announce that The Learning Place for Community-Based Research has partnered with the Faculty of Education at York University to launch a professional certificate program.

Tools for Community-Based Research (CBR) is a 5 week, 25 hour course that incorporates self-directed education modules, live online discussion and in-person seminar discussions to get you ready to participate in and contribute to community based research teams.

The course will run from August 10th – September 13th, 2015 and you can find the curriculum overview, registration instructions and an introduction video here.

The Ontario HIV Treatment Network will offer a number of scholarships for persons living with HIV, peer researchers and/or HIV/AIDS community leaders in Ontario to offset the tuition fee. If you’d like to apply for a scholarship, please complete this short application form by July 31st, 2015.
