Every year, Canada, along with other signatories of the 2016 United Nations Political Declaration on HIV and AIDS: On the Fast-Track to Accelerate the Fight against HIV and to End the AIDS Epidemic by 2030, reports on its progress towards meeting the commitments.
CATIE was asked by the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) to solicit feedback from Canadian civil society organizations about the status of, and response to, Canada’s progress towards the commitments in the 2016 United Nations Political Declaration on Ending AIDS. We have contracted San Patten and Associates to help us get this done in a timely manner.
As a member of the community sector, you hold much of the critical data and information about Canada’s response to HIV. The civil society and community sectors understand the complexity of context, the needs and challenges that are faced by marginalized, most at-risk and key populations, and are most directly affected by rapidly evolving issues such as the COVID-19 pandemic. You can help bring to the table relevant and updated information that will present a more realistic, nuanced, real-time picture of the epidemic in all its diversity and complexity.

Please take some time to provide your perspectives on Canada’s commitments by filling out this survey: https://freeonlinesurveys.com/s/lZhu60wL
And please share with your partners and colleagues as well to ensure that we get a representative set of voices for Canada’s report. The survey will close on March 4.
