CBR Musings: Hello, Goodbye

I am both delighted and saddened to announce some major staffing changes at PAN’s CBR office. On June 1, 2012, I will begin my year-long maternity leave. I am so grateful to the PAN membership for welcoming me and making the CBR program a big success over the past year. While I am excited about the new adventure I am about to embark on, I will miss PAN and my work greatly. However, I am excited to welcome Andrea Langlois into the CBR Manager position, and I know it will be in excellent hands. Here is a little more about Andrea, in her own words:

I am excited to be stepping into this role over the next year and look forward to connecting with PAN’s membership and to working with our partners at the Centre for REACH. I will be coming to PAN from AIDS Vancouver Island, where I’ve been working for the past 6 years. In that role I have loved every minute of my involvement in community based research and look forward to being a resource all of you.  If you have ideas for research projects, would like support in accessing resources, or just want to introduce yourself, please don’t hesitate to get in touch! I will be based in Victoria, where I will have office hours at the University of Victoria weekly, and will be making regular visits to the lower mainland. My email address is [email protected] and my phone number (as of June 4) will be 250-213-7464.
