Executive Administrative Assistant: Accountable to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Administrative Assistant participates as an integral member of the team and performs duties in accordance with the mandate and priorities of the organization. The Administrative Assistant assists and supports the CEO and management in carrying out their duties and mandate by providing a wide range of complex and confidential support functions

 

Promising Practices Coordinator: Reporting to the Director of National Programs, the Promising Practices Coordinator plays a central role in the prevention education and knowledge sharing stream of the organization with the Indigenous communities we serve. This entails developing curriculum and prevention intervention documents that build upon existing CAAN resources (ie. films, research documents and reports, current epidemiological data, and evidence-based health information) as well as facilitating community-based opportunities for knowledge exchange and dialogue.

 

Policy Advisor: The Policy Advisor will be responsible for the research and analysis of information, consulting with key stakeholders, government officials and internal staff, the development of options and preparation of recommendations on a wide range of policy projects. Responsibilities will include the coordination and implementation of operational policies, programs and strategies necessary to support CAAN’s overall projects, plans, strategies, objectives, and activities.

 

Communications Manager: This is a multi-year full-time contract. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, and to the CAAN Management Team, this individual is responsible for the general oversight, administration, and development of all aspects of communications; this will include specific video projects, website maintenance and social media presence. They will be committed to honing their craft and becoming a subject matter expert in video communications and execution for all virtual communications for the organization.
