Getting Prepped for PrEP! All you Need to Know about Accessing HIV Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis in BC

HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (prevention) medication, which is also known as PrEP,  is available free of charge to those considered high-risk.  If you’re uncertain what PrEP is and how it is used, the BC Centre for Excellence will be presenting a free webinar to introduce the main concepts.

 

At the end of the webinar participants will be able to:

  • Learn the principles of HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), and when and whom to prescribe it to;
  • Learn about PrEP eligibility, monitoring, and access in British Columbia;
  • Understand the community experience and perspective regarding PrEP.
