Stigma: a mark of disgrace associated with a particular circumstance, quality or person. (Oxford English Dictionary, 2015).

Come join us for a night of art, presentations and socializing to make your mark in shattering stigma. This prelude to the Gay Men’s Health Summit is hosted by the Investigaytors, a group of young gay men dedicated to researching gay men’s health.

For the first time ever in Canada, we will be showcasing the groundbreaking and stunning ‘artivism’ work of Venezuelan artist, Daniel Arzola. The poster series, “I’m Not a Joke”, breaks down queer stigma and stereotypes.

Mix, mingle, and meet like-minded stigma warriors, including some of the key speakers of the Summit. Refreshments and light nibbles will be served, with vegan and vegetarian options available. Wine will be available by donation.
