Viiv Healthcare – Positive Action Canada Aboriginal HIV/AIDS Initiative (PACAI)

ViiV-logoThe Positive Action Canada Aboriginal HIV/AIDS Initiative, a program of Viiv Healthcare Canada, is a collaborative, population-focused program to enhance HIV care, treatment, support and prevention services for Aboriginal people in Canada living with or affected by HIV/AIDS.

The Aboriginal population is one of the communities in Canada most affected by the HIV epidemic; this community has identified a need to ramp up both the community and healthcare sectors’ response to HIV.

In line with Viiv Healthcare’s global focus on under-served HIV+ populations, the Positive Action Canada Aboriginal HIV/AIDS Initiative is a multi-year program in support of the community-based response to the epidemic.

A total of $100,000 is available as part of the Third Call for proposals for the Positive Action Canada Aboriginal HIV/AIDS Initiative Community Grants, with an individual maximum of $50,000. The PACAI Community Grants Third Call for Proposals application deadline is September 23,2015.
