National PANACHE Survey

The PANACHE study is currently recruiting participants who are aging with HIV (aged 60 years and older), living in Canada and able to participate in English or French. PANACHE is supported by the CTN+ (CTN 344).

The goal of this community-based research study is to gather information from people aging with HIV in Canada about their current and anticipated healthcare and social needs and preferences. The information gathered during this study will help us make program and policy recommendations about what kinds of services and resources would be most useful to older adults living with HIV in Canada.

Participation in the study includes completing a survey, either online or with remote support from a Community Researcher. The survey is expected to take about 90 minutes to complete and participants will be compensated for their time. More information about the PANACHE study can be found on the Realize website at: National PANACHE Survey.

This study, conducted by Dr. Sharon Walmsley (University of Toronto) and Kate Murzin (Realize), has been approved by the University of Toronto Research Ethics Board (Protocol # 47060). This project is funded by Canadian Institutes of Health Research.
