BC Hepatitis Network Seeks New Board Members

BC Hepatitis Network is actively seeking board members (executive and members-at-large).

This is an ideal opportunity for a team member (including a person with lived and living experience of viral hepatitis) in a community organization or group who is looking to have an impact at the governance and strategic level.

What’s exciting?

BC Hepatitis Network has an unprecedented opportunity to contribute to the elimination of viral hepatitis in British Columbia by 2030 (in alignment with global targets endorsed by the federal government and the Public Health Agency of Canada).

As part of readying to meet this massive and exciting challenge, the BC Hepatitis Network seeks to strengthen its governance capacity with new members of the board.

About the Board

BC Hepatitis Network’s Board is a governance board. Governance boards delegate operational management and leadership to the Executive Director. The board is then free to focus on their main concerns of organizational health and results, and strategic relevance and direction.

If you are looking for an exciting, non-profit governance opportunity, we would love if you’d consider BC Hepatitis Network!

If you are interested in learning more about the BC Hepatitis Network, the board of directors, and about eliminating viral hepatitis as a public health threat by 2030, please reach out to Deb Schmitz, Executive Director at [email protected].
