Have your say on HIV criminalization!

Last month, the Government of Canada announced the start of a public consultation on HIV criminalization. From now until January, you can have your say and tell the government that it’s past time to change the misguided and harmful law on HIV non-disclosure. The federal government needs to hear from you about why criminalizing HIV is unjust and how changes to these laws are needed to end legal harms on people living with HIV in Canada. Join the Canadian Coalition to Reform HIV Criminalization on November 8th from 10-1130 AM Pacific time as they host an online information session for organizations and individuals interested in participating in this consultation. Learn more about the consultation, why such law reform is desperately needed, and what changes are being recommended.

Note that the final 30 minutes of the session are reserved for people living with HIV to ask questions about how to share their experiences as part of the consultations.

Register now for the English-language session.
