On August 2, 2022, from 2-3 PM Pacific time, Resilience Planning will be hosting a Discussion Circle for members of the Indigenous 2SLGBTQIA+ community to share their lived experience with homelessness and housing insecurity in BC. An honorarium of $60 (e-transfer or alternate) will be provided to each participant in reciprocity for their time and sharing.
This discussion circle is being hosted on behalf of the BC Indigenous Homelessness Strategy Steering Committee and the Aboriginal Housing Management Association to gather stories and direction from all voices and viewpoints to inform a provincial Indigenous homelessness strategy that is anticipated to be submitted for 2023 provincial budget consideration.
