AIDS 2022 Seeks Volunteers for Global Village and Youth Programme Working Group

AIDS 2022 is soliciting volunteers to participate in the Global Village and Youth Programme Working Group (GVYPWG). The purpose of the GVYPWG is to provide overall planning and guidance for the development of the Global Village and Youth Programme activities. It will be composed of local, regional and international members, including strong youth representation. Members of this working group will be asked to identify potential programming ideas and initiatives, review submitted applications and participate in the selection process, assist with resource identification and recommendations and act as liaisons between the GVYPWG and the wider community. The Terms of References are attached for your reference.

Roughly, up to 6 hours per month may be required, along with attendance at the selection meeting, held in Montreal, Canada 29-30 March 2022.

 

Composition of the Global Village and Youth Programme Working Group:

  • 1 x OC youth representative (Working Group co-chair): Tanaka Chirombo
  • 1 x OC Community representative from the host country/region (Working Group co-chair): Ken Monteith
  • Four local/regional representatives, including two youth
  • Three international representatives, including one youth
