Get Involved in the Next Stages of the Stigma Index!

The BC People Living with HIV Stigma Index study team is growing! We are looking for people with lived experience of HIV to join both our study team (this commitment includes regularly attending study team meetings and reviewing/providing feedback on BC People Living with HIV Stigma Index materials) and three advisory committees. You are also invited to sit on both the study team and an advisory committee, if you would like. Honoraria will be provided to recognize the commitment and expertise of individuals.

We are looking for:

    • People to sit on a committee for planning a Deliberative Dialogue. This committee will work to develop an invitee list and manage logistics for a Deliberative Dialogue (a targeted discussion focused at looking at existing literature and planning next steps) for approximately 30 people. The work of this committee will be from September – November 2019.
  • People to sit on a committee for developing an Evaluation tool. This committee will work to develop a shared measurement evaluation tool that can be used by multiple teams to evaluate outcomes of stigma reduction interventions. This committee will meet regularly over the next 8 months.
  • People to sit on a committee for developing a qualitative interview guide and planning qualitative interviews. This committee will work to develop a qualitative interview guide and process for the next phase of the BC People Living with HIV Stigma Index – to figure out what questions we should be asking, and who we should be asking them to.

If you are interested in joining the study team, any of the advisory committees, or have questions about these opportunities, please contact Paul Kerber, Evaluation Coordinator, at [email protected]
