The AHA Centre is a national, Indigenous-led collaborative research centre housed at the Canadian Aboriginal AIDS Network (CAAN).  The AHA Centre supports HIV and AIDS Community-Based research conducted in Aboriginal communities across Canada. There are a number of positions available at the AHA Centre. Including:

  • National Aboriginal Research Advisory Committee (NARAC). The AHA Centre is looking for 5 new members! The purpose of the AHA Centre’s National Aboriginal Research Advisory Committee (NARAC) is to support community-based research conducted in First Nations (status and non-status), Inuit and Métis communities related primarily to HIV and AIDS, Hepatitis C (Hep C), and Sexually Transmitted and Blood-Borne Infections (STBBIs), with an additional emphasis on Mental Health, Aging and related co-morbidities in order to ensure that our research is ethically and methodologically sound, culturally appropriate, respectful, and relevant.
