Funding Opportunity: Engage Intervention Fund

From the Engage blog:

The Engage team is excited to announce the Engage Intervention Fund. The purpose of the Engage Intervention Fund is to support HIV prevention interventions with gay, bi and other men who have sex with men (gbMSM), including trans and Two-Spirit men. Funds are intended to support the development, delivery and evaluation of front-line interventions. This may include pilot-development or delivery, implementation studies or evaluation of projects or interventions. Applications should provide an intervention to gbMSM as a part of study activities. The maximum amount per application is $17,000. This maximum is based upon Engage having $51,000 available in total to financially support at least three interventions.

The deadline to apply for funds is Tuesday, June 5th at 5:00 PM Eastern time/ 2:00 PM Pacific Time. Decisions will be made shortly after and funds must be used within a year of receiving them. A report will be sent back to the Engage site regarding how funds were spent after a year.

The adjudication committee consists of Engage team members and community representatives as identified by the Community Engagement Committees.

Please note that Engage team members value evidence-based interventions, so where possible, please link your intervention to some existing evidence that explains the need for such an intervention or the predicted outcomes of that intervention.
