Island Health STOP HIV Community Grants Program

The Island Health STOP HIV/AIDS Program is excited to announce a call for proposals for our Community Grants Program. We will be awarding grants of up to $10,000 each (to a total of $50,000) to communities or groups who are interested in planning and delivering activities addressing HIV prevention, testing and engagement into care and treatment.

Special focus will be given to specific priority populations who experience a higher burden of disease or who may face additional barriers to accessing or engaging with HIV services. These include: Aboriginal people (First Nations, Inuit and Metis), LGBTQ individuals, women and youth.

Interested communities and organizations are asked to submit completed proposal templates by 8 December 2017 to Angela Reid at [email protected]

Information on how to apply can be found in the attached guide. Communities or groups awarded grants will have ten months to complete their activities.
