The “Hepatitis C Treatment Options: Basic Information for Patients” is now available directly on the Hepatitis Education Canada website.
The tool allows people to input information about their own:
• Genotype
• treatment history, and
• cirrhosis status
to display selected CASL & AASLD recommended treatments.
Also included on site are videos to help people understand the “what” and “why” of the types of information needed for a treatment option discussion.
PDFs of recommended treatments are available to print for discussion with providers.
