Positive Living BC is currently recruiting for a Director of Development.
The Director of Development is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of a range of events, appeals, initiatives and campaigns undertaken by the Fund Development Department. Provides leadership to Fund Development Department staff. Develops an annual service plan including specific project goals, objectives and revenue projections. Collaborates in the development of the Society’s annual strategic plan.
Responsibilities include:
- Develops and directs the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the annual plan of fund raising events, appeals, initiatives and campaigns undertaken by the Fund Development Department including developing defined and measurable objectives and a corresponding budget in collaboration with the Standing Committee on Fund Development.
- Performs budget duties including preparing revenue projections, developing budget submissions, preparing and presenting budget justifications and presentations, monitoring expenditures, following up on anomalies, and taking action to resolve problems.
- Develops and directs Fund Development Department policies and procedures in collaboration with the Standing Committee on Fund Development.
- Collaborates with the Executive Director and other senior staff in the development of the annual strategic plan.
