BCCfE – Celebrating HIV Research and Results: Treatment as Prevention®

St. Paul’s Hospital, the BC-CfE and UBC Division of AIDS will be celebrating successes in translating research into policy during an event called, “Celebrating HIV Research and Results: Treatment as Prevention®”. This event, as part of UBC’s Centennial celebrations, is open to the public and will highlight how the implementation of the Treatment as Prevention® (TasP®) strategy has saved lives and changed how we treat HIV – in Canada and around the world.

Celebrating HIV Research and Results will feature a plenary talk, panel sessions, and poster presentations. Hear from community representatives and some of the most influential researchers in the fields of medicine, addiction, HIV/AIDS, including the Director of the BC-CfE and Head of UBC Division of AIDS, Dr. Julio Montaner, and Dr. Evan Wood, and Dr. Rolando Barrios to name a few.

This event is free of charge. A light lunch will be provided. Please note that seating is limited.
