Contract Position: October 2015 – March 2016, full-time
We are looking for an energetic and committed individual to coordinate Mpowerment,a peer-led program for young gay, bisexual and queer men. Mpowerment fosters HIV leadership skills, and provides community spaces for youth to connect with each other in ways that support health and wellbeing.
Working closely with a Core Group of young peer leaders, the Mpowerment Coordinator plans and facilitates fun, creative ongoing events to foster community engagement, and to build skills and knowledge about sexual health and wellbeing.
Mpowerment includes a mix of social events, outreach, discussion nights, and monthly sexual health workshops, called Unmask, that focus on relevant topics on relevant topics generated by Mpowerment participants.
