CHIWOS: Research Participants Needed

Canada’s largest research study by, with and for women living with HIV wants to hear from you!

The CHIWOS study is enrolling over 1500 women living with HIV across BC, ON and QC, and is conducting transformational research on the impact of women-centred HIV care on sexual, reproductive, mental, and other women’s health outcomes.

The study involves answering a 2-3 hour survey with a peer, plus a follow-up survey 18 months later. Interviews can be done at clinics/ASOs across the province, or by phone/skype. You will receive a $50 honorarium after the survey is completed to honour you for your time/effort.

All women are welcome. Importantly, please note that the following communities are still quite under-represented in our study: young women, trans women, African Caribbean and Black women, women not in care, and women living in the Interior, North, Island and Fraser.

If you or someone you know is interested, please contact the Project Coordinator Allison at 604-806-8615 or toll-free 1-855-506-8615 (for both numbers, press 1). For more info, visit our website.
