The CIHR Social Research Centre in HIV Prevention (SRC) invites you to an upcoming Social Drivers Speaker Series event, “Politics, Evidence and HIV Prevention”, by Dr. Justin Parkhurst of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Justin will be joining us on May 30th, from 4:30pm – 6:30pm at the Metropolitan Hotel in Toronto to discuss how politics affects the use of evidence to guide policy for HIV prevention.
Justin is a multidisciplinary social scientist with a primary interest in policy analysis, including the application of political and sociological concepts to health care use and health policy making. There will be a reception following the lecture at 6:30pm.
