This session is designed to provide an overview of the relationship between trauma and HIV/HCV transmission and treatment and to explore effective therapeutic strategies. As a knowledge exchange session, we will explore current trauma‐related research and discuss support trends being developed and used in communities to enhance our understanding of trauma and to identify evidence‐based strategies that can be incorporated into our current practice.
