Recruitment for Indigenous Previous Incarceration Group

We are a study led by an Indigenous graduate student wanting to learn more about Indigenous people’s experiences with health and legal staff in prisons or jails.

Have you been in prison, jail, or another correctional facility in Canada in the past 10 years? Are you Indigenous, First Nations, Inuit, or Metis? If so, we would love to hear from you! We are a study led by an Indigenous graduate student wanting to learn more about Indigenous people’s experiences with health and legal staff in prisons or jails. We also want to know your thoughts on how staff in prisons or jails can work with Indigenous people in better ways. Who? Indigenous Aged 19 and older Fluent in English Conviction of a criminal offense after the age of 19 that led to prison or jail in the past 10 years (7 days or longer) What?
