Deadline for applications: Tuesday, November 18, 2014
CPHA is accepting submissions for abstracts to be presented at Public Health 2015. You may submit a maximum of two abstracts as Presenting Author.
Abstracts are used to share information of value to conference participants and may be presented in the form of an Oral, Poster or Animated Poster.
Oral Presentations
Each session will have five presenters grouped together by similar conference track and topic. An oral presentation is 12 minutes followed by a 3-minute discussion period. Presenting authors may use slides to accompany their presentation.
Poster Presentations
Presenters will engage with participants during dedicated poster sessions on Tuesday, May 26 and Wednesday, May 27.
Animated Poster Presentations
Presenters will have the opportunity to highlight the content of an electronic poster (i.e. one PowerPoint slide or a small PowerPoint presentation) during a 5 minute presentation followed by a 2-minute discussion period. Following all presentations, there will be the opportunity for more one-on-one dialogue between presenters and attendees. For this portion of the presentation, you are required to prepare a poster for display.
As part of the submission process, select the conference track that best defines your submission.
