Across Canada, vulnerable populations continue to face barriers to accessing timely and equitable treatment for Sexually Transmitted and Blood-Borne Infections (STBBIs) such as Hepatitis C, Hepatitis B, HIV, and infectious syphilis. Delays in accessing prescription drug coverage are a key issue, and we want to hear about the experience of health care providers from across Canada in helping clients to access prevention and treatment.
To collect this input, we are conducting the ‘Between the Gaps’ study, which is a cross-sectional survey of healthcare providers exploring prescription drug coverage barriers to accessing STBBI treatment [Ethics ID#H25-00503].
