On December 2nd from 12-1 PM Pacific time, as part of awareness events around World AIDS Day and during Indigenous AIDS Awareness Week, PAN is hosting a free online webinar featuring presenters from the BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC).
Epidemiological data is vital for HIV services as it empowers organizations to make informed decisions, track program effectiveness, and identify underserved populations. By revealing trends in prevalence and incidence, this data helps optimize resources and tailor interventions to meet community needs, ultimately driving progress toward the global commitment to end HIV as well as viral hepatitis as a public health threat by 2030. Engaging with this data not only enhances service delivery but also fosters collaboration with communities, ensuring that efforts are impactful and equitable in the fight against HIV, viral hep and other STBBIs, including ensuring access to harm reduction.
This STBBI surveillance update will highlight the most recent results and trends concerning HIV, hepatitis C and syphilis, and how you can keep track with the latest on the CPS STIBBI and TB dashboard.
