Training Goals:
Core Leadership Training seeks to answer the question: “Who am I as a Leader?”
- To identify personal values and philosophy
- To develop leadership skills and practices
- To gain community knowledge and awareness
Curriculum objectives for the training are for participants to have the opportunity to:
- Understand the principles of leadership
- Realize individual leadership potential
- Participate in building a network of leaders within the PLHIV community
- Realize the potential and strengths that each individual brings to the network
- Learn about and practice leadership skills in a safe environment
- Inspire others to become leaders
- Develop personal resiliency against stigmatization and the discrimination of HIV
This is achieved through fun interactive, reflective and small group work throughout the training and we always check in on our own and participants energy levels- this training is provided by and for people living with HIV.
Please note this is a CERTIFICATE TRAINING and participation is required. This is not a retreat. (Retreats are awesome too. 😊)
