As part of their “Strengthening Relationships and Connections Between Rural Prides” project funded by WAGE, Fierté Canada Pride is opening applications for the first round of the 2023-2024 FCP Micro-Grants. A total of $60,000.00 will go towards the Rural and Remote stream. This stream will support projects from rural/remote pride
- Urban pride that meet the general eligibility criteria and want to do a project that supports rural and remote prides would be able to apply as well.
- The remaining $40,000.00 will be awarded to any pride organization that meets the general criteria of the FCP micro-grants and whose project is focused on antiracism and reconciliation.
- Based on need and interest, these micro-grants will range from $500 to $10,000 each to Prides that have a budget of under $200,000 per year in order to ensure that resources are provided to those Prides that are less likely to be able to access larger funding jars.
- Although this grant is funding two separate streams of projects, organizations can only apply for 1 project per round of funding.
