GATHERING GOAL: To engage participants in a forum to discuss, share and model wise practices grounded in programs and research that embodies the living and lived experiences of Indigenous Peoples.
GATHERING OBJECTIVES
- To increase uptake and application of research findings in policy and practice
- To share program-related initiatives
- To increase the number of community-based researchers with knowledge of Indigenous CBR design and data analysis available to undertake HIV and AIDS and/or Hep C research in Indigenous communities.
- To increase opportunities for ongoing knowledge translation regarding research findings and support scale-up of effective programming with stakeholders engaged in the response to issues related to Indigenous Peoples, HIV and AIDS and/or Hep C.
