The Canadian HIV Observational Cohort (CANOC) Collaboration is currently seeking qualified individuals to join our team as Community Investigators. The CANOC Community Investigator will meet with a CANOC Principal Investigator 3-4 times yearly, commit up to 12 hours/year of teleconferences, work independently on a CANOC research project. Skype calls will be coordinated for individuals in rural or remote areas. The Community Investigator will be asked to commit a total of up to 200 hours/year.
The CANOC Centre will compensate the Community Investigators for their time, and financial support will be provided to prepare for and attend meetings, as well as up to one national conference (dependent on approval from the CANOC management team)
The appointment is for one year (June 15, 2015 through June 14, 2016) with possibility of renewal.
