Upcoming Workshop: Effective Presentation and Data Visualization

The BC and Yukon Chapter of the Canadian Evaluation Society is hosting an upcoming workshop entitled, “Effective Presentation and Data Visualization”. See below for a description of the workshop.
Presenting data effectively is key to community engagement, knowledge mobilization and evaluation utilization. In this presentation, the presenter will examine some of the science behind data visualization and discuss best practices in presenting data effectively. Through numerous examples, the workshop will review the principles that support data comprehension, keep stakeholder engaged and enhance the retention of important information. Attendees will leave the presentation with tools that can be immediately implemented to improve their own presentations, reports and other deliverables.

Public, non-profit and private sector professionals involved in data visualization and presentation.
