The new study from the BC Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS: the Engage Study has launched
This study is for those who are new to HIV treatment and aims to investigate the characteristics of people who are initiating HAART in BC at a time when there is expanded testing and treatment throughout the province and identify what information and support people are receiving prior to starting treatment.
We are striving through this research to better understand how we can help people in their treatment decisions and how supports, in the clinical and community arenas, can be improved. We hope the results of this research will positively impact the people you serve.
The study can be done in person in our office in Vancouver or over the phone using our toll-free number, 1-855-506-8615.
We need your help to reach people newly on treatment for this study. Please let your contacts know about this study. If you would like a study poster or postcards for your location please let the study team know.
Thank you for your support of this important research. Should you have any questions please contact the study coordinator, Sarah Kesselring, at 604-682-2344 x 63237, [email protected] or at our toll-free number.
