The gap between research and public health practice and policy has been well documented in the grey and peer-reviewed literature. Realizing the need to address this gap, the evidence-based decision making movement was born. The National Collaborating Centre for Methods and Tools offers an online learning module outlining the basics of evidence-informed decision making in public health. This learning module describes the stages of the evidence-informed decision making process, in addition to further resources on the topic. There is no cost for participating in the online learning modules. You should complete the module sections in sequence, but they do not have to be completed at one go!
