Useful Resource: Key Steps in Outcomes Management

More than ever, the nonprofit sector is being asked to demonstrate that its services are making a positive difference and have value. However, many organizations do not collect or make use of regularly collected  feedback on service outcomes. Such information on outcomes can help program managers and board members to make informed decisions and constantly improve the effectiveness of their services.

Key Steps in Outcomes Management is a resource published by The Urban Institute that intends to provide assistance to nonprofits that wish to collect outcome measurement data and use that information to help improve services. The guidebook outlines 13 key steps for nonprofits to follow when designing outcomes management systems. Click here to access this useful resource.
