NEW PAN Resource: Conversation Guide to support upcoming Election engagement

Arising out of discussions at Members and Allies’ meetings, PAN has developed a new 2026 Election Member Conversation Guide to support anyone in engaging municipal and provincial candidates during the 2026 election cycle. The resource provides practical guidance, background information, and issue-specific questions on HIV, viral hepatitis, STBBIs, substance use, harm reduction, involuntary care, housing, health equity, Indigenous health, sex work and community funding. By equipping members with tools to share local expertise, ask informed questions, and discuss community priorities with candidates, the guide helps strengthen advocacy efforts and elevate the voices of people and communities most affected by health inequities across British Columbia.
