Mark your calendars for an upcoming event organized by the CHIWOS-PAW Team: “CHIWOS PAW Fraser Salish Gathering”, on Wednesday October 13 from 1:00PM – 3:00 PM Pacific time. This event is for those who are living or working in Fraser Health, or who work with community in Fraser Health.
During this interactive gathering, Valerie Nicholson and the Wise Women from CHIWOS PAW will lead us on a journey to understanding how Indigenous Women living with HIV understand, support, and envision their health through traditional ways of knowing. By focusing on the words, art, and teachings of the Wise Women, we will spend time during this Gathering reflecting on how we can better support the health and wellbeing of Indigenous Women living with HIV in breakout rooms with Talking Circle style discussions.
