Participate in Peer Panel of Family and Caregivers of PWLLE of Substance use

Invitation to Participate in Peer Panel: Family and Caregivers of People with Lived and Living Experience

The Ministry of Mental Health and Addictions is working on a new public-facing campaign around the topic of drug use and overdose. The purpose of the campaign is to help inform and educate the general public in British Columbia and reduce stigma.

The Ministry is seeking participants with lived and living experience surrounding drug use and overdose to share their thoughts and perspectives to help inform campaign planning. This session is an opportunity for participants to provide insight and feedback regarding their experiences, to support campaign themes and values that are respectful, effective, and influence change.

This will be a 2-hour session, facilitated by peer support workers, on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Participants will be compensated with an honorarium of $50 for their participation in this session, as per the BCCDC’s Peer Payment Standards.
