The Ministry of Health’s Population and Public Health division is currently seeking to recruit a Manager, Communicable Disease Prevention and Vulnerable Populations.
As Manager, Communicable Disease Prevention and Vulnerable Populations, you will independently manage the development and monitoring of policy, including the review and revision of existing ministry programs or legislation and issues management, related to non-vaccine preventable communicable diseases. While there is an emphasis on work related to viral hepatitis, HIV and other sexually transmitted infections, this position also works on policy and projects related to emerging communicable diseases without vaccines, and populations that are disproportionately vulnerable to harms from communicable disease and substance use.
