Since mid-2024, we have been waiting for the federal government to create a new Regulation under the CDSA governing these exemptions. The stated goal in 2024 was to help streamline and simplify the exemption process. Since then, however, several services have shut down and the process for being granted exemptions/renewals under the CDSA has been changing.
The HIV Legal Network and Canadian Drug Policy Coalition ask that you please take a few minutes to anonymously share your experiences.
