The purpose of this event is to connect women living with HIV in BC, share experiences accessing healthcare in BC, and understand the women-centered HIV care model.

The agenda will include a presentation by Kayla Fong, a trainee working with the WCHC hub, who will share her research on how the women-centered HIV care model is being implemented across Canada. Her talk will be followed by a panel with 3 of our community members discussing their experiences of navigating healthcare in BC. Following the panel, women will move into smaller break out rooms to discuss their experiences and build connections with other women living with HIV across BC.

If you have any questions please contact WCHC BC sub-hub coordinators Zoe Osborne ([email protected]) and Hadiza Umar ([email protected]). The first 30 to register can opt in to receive a valentine from us in the mail!
