Applications are open until January 14, 2025 for our new Transforming Systems Grants (TSG).
These grants will provide flexible, operational grants of $100,000 per year, for three years to qualified donees, registered non-profit societies and co-operatives that are currently working to address the root causes of inequality and supporting those most affected to shape their own futures. TSG is intended to support organizations that prioritize intersectionality, allyship and mutual liberation in their efforts to challenge oppressive systems.
What do we mean by “currently working to address the root causes of inequality”? We mean organizations whose current/existing work is tackling and challenging the underlying factors of unfair laws, policies, and practices to drive systemic change. For a complete list of key terms and definitions, please see page 7 of the application guide.
Now more than ever, operational funding is vital, to support the day-to-day expenses of organizations. This funding was designed to support operational costs, rather than specific projects, to provide organizations with the flexibility to use the funding to meet their own needs and priorities. For more information, visit the TSG webpage.
