Quesnel shows up: honouring strength and resilience in an unregulated drug poisoning crisis

Join us June 13th and 14th from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM at the Quesnel and District Senior’s Center as we come together to celebrate the strength and resilience of our community during this challenging time. This free event is an opportunity to learn about how Quesnel is keeping its community safe, and what you can do to help! Let’s show up and support one another as we navigate through this Unregulated Drug Poisoning crisis. Together, we can make a difference and honour the courage and perseverance of those affected. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to connect and stand in solidarity with our community. See you there!

This 2 day event will include an inspiring list of speakers, including:

Northern Peer Connections is comprised of members of Quesnel’s Community Action Team, a group of service providers, People With Lived/Living Experience and community members committed to keeping our people safe during this drug poisoning crisis.

We recognize and uphold the dedication, perspectives, contributions and voices of the people with lived and living experience (PWLLE) who guide this work, including our partners at the Coalition of Substance Users of the North (CSUN) and other PWLLE.
