Women and Gender Equality Canada invites the following organizations to apply for funding:
Canadian not-for-profit organizations that are legally constituted. They must work primarily or entirely with 2SLGBTQI+ communities.
The objective of this call for proposals is to advance the equality of 2SLGBTQI+ people. Community-informed projects will address needs and barriers to equality.
The Department will give priority to proposals that address barriers to equality for 2SLGBTQI+ people who are:
- Intersex
- Trans
- Two Spirit
- Non-binary
- Indigenous
- Black
- Racialized
- Refugee, immigrant or newcomer
- living with disabilities
- seniors
- youth
- low-income
- member of an official language minority communities
- living in rural, remote and/or northern communities
- That address any other gaps, such as geography, as deemed by the Department
The deadline to submit an application for funding is April 10, 2024, at 12:00 PM (noon) Pacific time.
