The Provincial Health Services Authority oversees contract funding for community-based organizations who provide HIV and Hepatitis C services. These contracts support a range of service areas including education and awareness programs, improving treatment outcomes, increasing access to services for priority populations, reducing stigma and discrimination, and fostering collaboration among service partners.
Requests for proposals for the next contract cycle are now open and will be accepted until March 8, 2024. New contracts will be begin on July 1, 2024.
Multiple contracts will be awarded, primarily to organizations with provincial scope or impact. Organizations that operate regionally will be considered in some service areas.
The service areas eligible for funding include:
- Provincial Advocacy, Policy and Stigma Reduction
- Support for Women, Children and Youth Living with HIV & HCV and their Families
– Family-Based Services and Support for Newcomer Women with HIV and their Families
– Addressing Food Insecurity among Women Living with HIV
– Services for Children and Youth
- Provincial Capacity Building Network
- Systems Navigation Support Services
- Prevention & Testing Pathways for Priority Populations and Settings
- Indigenous Programming and Services
